<a href="">The Plug Awards</a> are sort of like the Grammys for indie rock - <a href="">Sufjan Stevens</a> has been nominated in several categories including: Artist Of The Year, Male Artist Of The Year and Album Of The Year (Seven Swans), so they asked him to perform a few songs live at the awards show on Feb. 9, 2005 at Webster Hall in New York City. That's great that Sufjan got a nomination. Of course putting him up against a veteran like Tom Waits isn't really fair, but I think Sufjan's best work is still to come. Seven Swans is one of those albums everyone should at least hear once from front to back. It is definately my favorite album of the year and saw LOTS of play around my house. Way to go Sufjan!!
