I think that if your not taking care of your body in any way shape or form that its a sin.

And do I agree with smoking? No I don't.

I have worked in the hospital for 6 years and never understood how Nurses who watched their patients die because of lung cancer from smoking is able to go outside and light one up.

I mean I know addiction is pretty much like a disease---its hard to break but seeing somebody die everyday over something like that would make me think twice and hopefully is doing the same for them.

Where we differ greatly is that I do not think affording same sex couples hospital visitation rights means that you don't think they are sinners.

I'm just saying that being a Christian I cannot vote to ok the right for Gays to be married when its wrong.

Thats the bottom line. My faith is against it so am I then.

There is no need to play on the fence which is what your doing when you are ok with Gay Marriage though your faith saids that its wrong.

Then how can you sit back and do nothing about obese people? Gluttony is not okay, it's wrong. Smoking is also wrong. Divorce is also wrong. Why are you not lobbying Washington about those issues? Why are you singling out same sex unions?

I'm not doing that----the reason that I'm talking about Gay Marriage is because thats what this thread started the discussion on so I tend to go with whatever the thread started on.

I have told you that Gay Marriage was wrong but I even told you that not taking care of your body was wrong and watching porn was wrong----

Again Sin is Sin and its all wrong.
