Near-drowning Canadians jailed in the U.S. after accident

Unread postby musicmonkey » Tue Aug 26, 2008 12:54 pm

I just heard that after nearly drowning, two Canadians on a Sea-Doo on the Niagara River accidentally washed ashore on American soil. With tubes in their lungs at a U.S. hospital, they were arrested and spent 2 days in a U.S. jail. I think this is a prime example of how U.S. Homeland Security is completely dysfunctional. You have millions of illegal Mexicans roaming around your country and you're arresting pleasure-seeking Canadians who nearly drowned? I wonder what sort of fuss would be made in the States had this happened to one of their own by Canadian immigration.

I think the Homeland Security must have a big huge fear of Mexicans or something------

I do know that in the last couple days in my home state Mississippi about 2 hours from where I live they arrested over 600 Mexicans that were not legal to live here which surprised the heck out of me and there are many many many more---

I know a year or so ago all the illegal Mexicans were at the Captial protesting their rights to become a citizen in America and I was like-----

YOU GUYS ARE LOOKING FOR THEM AND HERE THEY ARE!!!!!!

But of course nothing was done.

I think sometimes Homeland Security just likes to hear themselves speak.

I think that it was wrong and a sad situation.

I mean the guy was knocked out and had no idea where he was going----from what I read if he knew (if he wasnt knocked out of course) that he was going in the wrong direction then he would have turned around.

They were just out to have a good time and that was all.

Homeland Security should give them a big ole "I'M SORRY" because they were/are wrong.
