Which comic design is your favourite?

Unread postby Shine for Christ » Sun Mar 05, 2006 9:13 pm

Please read before judging.

As I'm publishing a biblical comic series about 1st century church history. I thanked God for blessing me with a big sponsor recently. That means new stress too.

I had come up with 4 poster layouts for you guys to judge which one is the best design. Please choose one only.

The requirement:
- Target audience are mainly non-christian comic readers as books mainly will be placed in secular bookstores and not christian bookstores.
- The design cannot frighten the non-believer audiences away. So it can't be too spiritual.
- It must have visually impact or be attractive to them.

Hi Van,

They are all great drawings, but I don't think non-Christians would be attracted to any of them. Maybe #3, but they all seem very "Biblical".

Van:
I pray that you are successful in reaching someone to bring them closer to God.
I selected #4 - thinking that it might be the one a non-Christian audience might be interested in picking up, especially if they are not familiar with the Ascension.
But considering your title, "Bear Witness", you might have a hard sell. I would actually love to see it on the shelves of my favorite comic shop, though!

About the title... I had really gave me a big headache. I had change once already.

I had even seek the Holy Spirt for aid and He had give me Matt 28:18-20 great commission as backing verse and Acts 1:8 and Acts 23:11 as main verse to mediate on. That's where I got a word 'Witness'. Then I find just put witness sounds weird so I added a word bear in front.
